In this Yatra, we start our journey from Dehradun by Helicopter and end in Dehradun with the sights of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. At present, Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter is the easiest way to complete the Yatra.

Dehradun to Chardham yatra by helicopter itinerary
Day 1
Dehradun is the starting and ending point of the Yatra by helicopter.
Guest will be picked up from the airport or railway station on their arrival and provided complimentary stay on arrival without meals. In the evening time, we were briefed about the tour plan.
Day 2
Dehradun to Gangotri
0500 hrs – Checkout from hotel.
0600 Hrs – ETD from Sahastradhara helipad.
0630 Hrs – ETA at Harshil.
Today early morning guests must be ready early in the morning and checkout from hotel to helipad for starting Char Dham yatra. On arrival at Harshil, the guest will have breakfast and then leave for Gangotri temple.
The approximate time is 3 Hrs for Gangotri darshan including 25 km each side road trip to Gangotri. After Gangotri darshan guest was brought to the Harshil helipad at 10:30hrs for the next flight to Badrinath.
Harshil to Badrinath
1030 Hrs – ETD from Harshil
1130 Hrs – ETA at Badrinath helipad
On arrival at Badrinath guest was taken to Badrinath temple by car. The approximate time to Badrinath darshan is 1 Hrs. After darshan Guest will be taken to Badrinath helipad for their next flight to Sersi.
Badrinath to Sersi
1300 Hrs – ETD from Badrinath.
1330 Hrs – ETA at Sersi.
Arrive at Sersi guest get another flight for Kedarnath shrine .shuttle service to Kedarnath operates from Sersi.
Sersi – Kedarnath – Sersi
1415 Hrs – ETD from Sersi to Kedarnath.
1630 Hrs – ETA to Sersi from Kedarnath.
The approximate time to Kedarnath darshan is 2 hrs and report back to the Kedarnath helipad. Overnight stay at Sersi.
Day 3
Sersi to Yamunotri
0730 Hrs – ETD from Sersi.
0800 Hrs – ETA at Kharsali helipad.
Arrival at Kharsali our crew welcome the guests and arranged palki & pony for the guest. The approximate time for Yamunotri darshan is 5hr 30 min (round trip). Yamunotri is 6 km on each side. After darshan guests will be served lunch at Kharsali around 1:30 pm.
Yamunotri to Sahastradhara
1430 Hrs – ETD from Kharsali.
1500 Hrs – ETA at Sahastradhara helipad.
On arrival at the Sahastradhara helipad guest will be taken to Dehradun hotel to collect their luggage and then be dropped at the airport /railway station for their departure.
If the guest would like to stay in Dehradun then we arrange accommodation at an additional cost. The same must inform us at the time of booking.
This is the trip end of char Dham yatra.

Guidelines for passengers
- There is very limited space for luggage in the chopper. Only 05 kg luggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers bringing excess baggage would not be allowed to take the same in the chopper.
- Passengers should carry only handbags as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter.
- All temples in Char Dham are located in high-altitude areas. Passengers are advice to carry a regular medical kit.
- At these locations, it becomes cold throughout, so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them.
- Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket
- There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens
Terms and conditions
- The hotel can be changed with similar available options if any given hotel will be sold out.
- The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount.
- Heritage aviation reserves the right to postpone the timings of flying subject to weather conditions.
- The full amount has to be deposited 14 days before the date of the journey.
Cancellation policy
If passengers wish to cancel their booking then they will have to pay the following cancellation charges:
- Up to 7 days before journey 20%o f amount.
- Up to 48 hours before journey 50% of the amount
- Less than 48 hours before journey 75% of the amount
- 24 hours before journey No refund
Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before the journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then the booking will be treated as canceled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
Bad weather situation
If you are stuck in a bad weather situation on any particular day out of the 5 days we will still try to finish the darshan on the next day. In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money. This means, if due to any reason, we are unable to do 2 dhams then we will refund 50% of the payment. If unable to do 3 Dhams then we will refund 75% amount.
Points to remember
Things need to be carried:
Regular medical kit, Windcheater, Sports shoes, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Flashlight, Dry fruits
Clothing :
There is no restriction for clothing while you enter in Temple. For ladies, we advise ignoring wear Sarees. Salwar, Kameez, and jeans will be preferable.

BSNL & JIO is best to have otherwise other network is also available at all sites (Sometimes with a limited network).
